Welcome Back to a New Year of Purpose and Possibility
Dear Scholars, Staff, Families, and Community,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It is with tremendous excitement, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose that I return as your RSPA Campus Principal. While I had the privilege of serving in the district’s Curriculum and Instruction Department this past year, my heart has always remained with our school community. I am honored to be back, and I look forward to continuing our journey together.
Our theme for this school year, “Passport to Excellence: Every Journey Matters,” reminds us that each scholar, staff member, family, and community partner plays a vital role in the success of our school. Every journey is unique, every milestone deserves celebration, and every step we take together moves us closer to excellence.
This year, our focus is clear. We will intentionally strengthen our school culture by ensuring that every person feels valued, connected, and inspired to succeed. We will continue pursuing our Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) by increasing and maintaining student and staff retention while improving student achievement, with a commitment to increasing student performance by 25% in every content area.
At the heart of everything we do is our belief that we are CREW, not passengers. On a crew, every member has a responsibility. Everyone contributes. Everyone leads. Everyone supports one another. No one gets to simply go along for the ride. Together, we will embrace challenges, celebrate successes, and remain committed to ensuring that every member of our school community reaches their destination.
