Strength and Conditioning Camp
The RSPA SAC CAMP (Strength & Conditioning Camp) is a 3-day performance camp designed to help student-athletes improve their speed, agility, strength, and overall athletic ability. Open to students in grades 5th–8th, this camp focuses on building a strong athletic foundation through high-energy training, competitive drills, and structured conditioning. Each day will also include sport-specific sessions for football and volleyball, along with fun competitions to keep athletes engaged and motivated.
Registration ends August 4th. To receive a free camp t-shirt, registration payment is due July 15th.
We hope to see all of our scholar-athletes on the field from Tuesday, August 4th through Thursday, August 6th, from 4:30-6:30 PM.

Meet the Coaches
Meet Your Athletics Director, Andrew Hutchinson
Coach Hutchinson is the Athletic Director and Head Coach for Football, Basketball, and Track at Rhodes School for the Performing Arts (RSPA). With over 20 years in coaching and youth development, he focuses on cultivating student-athletes and building strong programs based on discipline and excellence.
His coaching journey began at Faith West Academy, leading the football team to TAPPS playoffs and mentoring All-District athletes. At Aldine ISD’s Shotwell Middle School, he achieved an undefeated basketball season and District Championship while fostering leadership initiatives. At Conroe ISD, he contributed to playoff appearances and supported athlete development.
Since joining RSPA, he has transformed its athletics into a championship program, achieving multiple Division Championships and state-level success. A graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Hutchinson was recognized as the 2021-2022 Fine Arts Teacher of the Year and the 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year. He believes athletics is about developing leaders and preparing youth for success beyond sports.
