Our Superintendent

Ashley Miller is the Superintendent of Rhodes School for the Performing Arts, where her dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a supportive community shines brightly. A proud Houston native, Ashley’s journey in education reflects a deep commitment to positively impacting the lives of scholars, families, and CREW members.

After beginning her academic career at Howard University in Washington, D.C., Ashley earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston and went on to achieve her Master’s Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. Her career trajectory—from speech-language pathologist to principal, district administrator, and ultimately superintendent—offers a unique perspective shaped by diverse experiences in the field of education.

Ashley is driven by a refusal to settle for complacency and holds high expectations for all scholars. She believes in challenging scholars to achieve their best while fostering a fun and supportive environment for everyone at Rhodes School for the Performing Arts. Her approach ensures that every scholar has the opportunity to excel, all within a positive and engaging atmosphere that celebrates both educational and artistic achievements.
