Welcome Back to School!
Dear Scholars and Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year! I hope you had a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer. I am excited to welcome everyone back and look forward to partnering with you to help ensure a successful and healthy school year for every student.
As your School Nurse Aide, my goal is to provide a safe, caring, and healthy environment where students can learn and thrive. I am here to assist with student health concerns, administer medications according to school policy, manage chronic health conditions, provide first aid, and promote healthy habits throughout the school year.
To help us care for your child, please remember to:
Update the school with any changes to your child’s medical history, allergies, or emergency contact information.
Submit all required medical forms, immunization records, and medication authorization forms before sending any medication to school.
Keep your child home if they have a fever of 100.4°F or higher, are vomiting, have diarrhea, or have symptoms of a contagious illness. Students should be fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication before returning to school.
Encourage good handwashing, healthy eating, adequate sleep, and regular physical activity to help keep everyone healthy.
If your child has asthma, diabetes, severe allergies, seizures, or any other medical condition that requires special attention during the school day, please contact me so we can develop a plan to support their health and safety.
Communication is important, and I encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s health. Working together, we can help ensure every student has a safe, healthy, and successful school year!
Wishing everyone a wonderful school year!
