SCG – Behavior

building stronger relationships between students, teachers, and staff

Thanks to the Stronger Connection Grant, RSPA has welcomed a new team to help increase student attendance and promote appropriate behavior. By building stronger relationships between students, teachers, and staff, we aim to create a more supportive and engaging atmosphere for everyone.

Our Goals…

1) Increased Attendance: We want to ensure that every student feels motivated to come to school every day. With targeted interventions, we hope to see a significant decrease in both absenteeism and tardiness.

2) Promote Positive Behavior: By implementing new programs and strategies, we aim to promote positive behavior and reduce conflicts, helping our students feel safe and respected. Learn more about our latest Detention System below.

3)  Stronger Connections: Building strong relationships is key to a thriving school community. We will focus on social-emotional learning and community-building activities to help students connect with each other and their teachers.

The SCG team plays a vital role in enhancing our students’ educational experience and fostering a positive school environment.

Together, we can create an environment where our students can flourish both academically and socially.

RSPA’s Dentention System

RSPA’s detention system is part of our effort to promote a positive and respectful learning environment.

Detentions will be assigned for behavior that disrupts the educational process or violates school policies. Our goal is to help students reflect on their choices and understand the importance of maintaining a respectful atmosphere for everyone.

Detentions will take place from 8:00-11:00 AM on designated Saturdays. Parents are responsible for transportation. Students will receive prior notice of their assigned detention and will have the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns with their teacher.

We appreciate your support in reinforcing the values of respect and responsibility within our school community.
