A Message from Our Superintendent

Friday, July 3, 2020

Dear RSPA Families,

While we are uncertain of what the 2020-2021 school year will look like for our students, we want to assure our families that RSPA district leadership is working with all essential parties and integrating parent input to develop a plan based upon the latest guidance from TEA, state and local authorities. We are committed to providing excellent choices for all of our students to excel this fall and beyond.

We understand that each family has unique concerns about returning to school as COVID-19 is still affecting our community. We support you in making the decisions that are best for your student(s) and family. The health and safety of our students and staff remain our number one priority as we move forward with developing our re-entry plan.

It is important to remember that COVID-19 and TEA guidelines change consistently. We will continue monitoring any new developments in our city and the state of Texas. RSPA will share its preliminary re-entry plan the week of July 6th, with the understanding that as we move closer to August 24th, the plan may change.

For the latest information regarding our 2020-2021 re-entry plan please visit our district website at www.rhodesschool.org.
